Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers/merchants
Liaising with merchants, buyers, suppliers and distributors
Maintaining a comprehensive products data
Working closely with visual creative department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize sales
Maintaining awareness of competitors’ performance
Conducting analysis to assess overall pricing competitiveness and prepare an effective action plan
Works with Merchants to collect samples and assortment sheets in order to assemble the best presentation and assortment of merchandise based on space availability and timing.
Analyzes, along with Planning and Allocation, planned sales and/or historical sales to determine the quantity of presentations and the proper facings / investment to maximize turn and sales.
